Funny of the Week!
We took Nathan to Burger King for the first time the other night. Of course he loved his hamburger, but what kid doesn't love a happy meal!! Getting to the funny part, while we were there a little girl was taking her food to the table and ended up spilling her bag of french fries. She then dropped her brother's fries onto the floor as well. When this happened all the adults in the room said "awe", and then just as it went silent Nathan burst out laughing. Not just a little giggle, full roaring laughter as he kept pointing to the fries on the ground. Everyone then of course started laughing. He loves when mommy dumps his blocks out at home (or anything for that matter) and swishes them around on the ground. It has always been the funniest thing to him, and I guess this reminded him of it. Needless to say, the little boy who lost his fries was upset that Nathan was laughing at him and Nathan continued every couple of minutes looking over, pointing and giggling. Such a riot! He is just a little one that doesn't understand yet, but he really does have perfect timing. Truly one for the books :) The innocence of being a child!!

Nathan's Report Card
English: A++++++++++++++
Nathan is saying so many words these days -(Ball, Bath, Bed, Banana, Book, Hi, Hello, Milk, More, Down, Mommy, Daddy, shoe and of course No, No, No, No, No) It is to cute to listen to his little voice. He also says some other words, but they are a little rough right now and hard to make out.
Music: A+++++++++++++++
Nathan love, love, loves his set of musical instruments. He plays to the beat and dances at the same time. It is so funny to watch his tush move faster and faster as the tempo of the song gets faster. The other day, I thought he was going to throw his hip out. I am working on getting video of this. It is good material for his wedding one day :)
Geography: A++++++++++++++
Nathan will take our hand, walk us into the kitchen and point to the location of what it is he wants. If you ask him if he wants a banana, he wants up and then his little finger directs you into each room of the house until we reach the bowl in the kitchen with the bananas. Such a little smarty pants! It does make knowing what he wants a little easier on us.
P.E: A++++++++++++++++
We can finally say that Nathan is officially walking. He took his first steps months ago, but has always been a speedy crawler and a little impatient. So, he would zoom around on the ground to get to what he wants. Now, he has gotten his stride and has such a proud look on his face as he walks around. Mommy and Daddy are proud too. It is funny to see him upright all the time though!!
Social Skills:A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Nathan is such a sweetie. Never short on giving hugs or plenty of cuddle time with us. He loves to play with the other kids and is really an excellent sharer. His favorite thing to share is his snack. He wants to feed everybody in his play group and at home he is always feeding mommy. But when it comes to his little fruit snacks, those are precious gems that he will never share!
Nathan Busy Working
Next Stop: Tampa
Yes, We returned from Philly and had two days to get ready for our trip to Florida. First, we went to Tampa to visit with my sister. Happy New Year!! The McBuch Sisters rocked the house with the PopStar video game while the kids played and played. Wendy's house is like Toys R Us. After four kids, she has quite a collection of fun goodies. Nathan had a blast. Nothing but smiles :)
Next, We headed down to Boca for Brent's cousin's wedding. It was a weekend of fun festivities and Nathan's first formal function!! He was so handsome. Mommy and her little man got to share their first dance :) He had so much fun with Nanna, GG, Great Gramps and Great Aunt Nancy.
Next Stop: PA
First Snow Storm of the Season
Nathan was all smiles on our little hill!! His favorite thing to do is eat the snow. Hopefully, he will be hitting the slopes with mommy and daddy in no time!!
First Stop: Napa, CA--Thanksgiving
Nathan rode his first tram car on the vineyard....Woa mommy we are so high!!
We were out in Napa, CA for Thanksgiving visiting with my brother and his family. We had such a great time. Nathan loves his cousins and was in heaven having play buddies the entire time. The adults had fun too. A little Rock Band and some wine after the kidos went to bed, what could be better!! The weather was gorgeous and we had the most decadent Thanksgiving feast (butternut squash soup w/ creme fresh, manchengo mashed potatoes, sausage stuffing, turkey w/shallot gravy and the ultimate pumpkin bread pudding with caramel sauce....Yummy!!) Once we returned from our vacation, we had a day before Auntie D and Uncle Will came to town. Talk about busy, but so much fun.
We Are Back!! Happy New Year
We're Back!! Yes, we have been gone for a while with all of our travels and adventures. Now we are back and have lots of stories to share. Our latest adventures are posted above.
