My big boy is starting school next week. His teacher came to the house yesterday to meet us and spend time with Nathan, so that he would be familiar with her. Wow, I can't believe he will be in school. Of course, it is only 2 and 1/2 hours twice a week but still. He was very excited to meet her, showed off his train building skills and was his typical energetic self. Nathan has always been the social guy, so I think he will do great. Very exciting times!

My Music Man
Still the Music Man!!
Sorry for the jerkiness of the video. I was playing his other guitar while trying to record our "Jam" session!!
My 7 month old!!

My 7 month old little guy. Oh my goodness, you are growing up so fast! Ryan is way ahead of the curve on everything. He started sitting early, playing early, talking early and is now (watch out Mamma)...... about to crawl. I will have two mobile children, wow!! It will be fun :) Ryan is our little Velociraptor!! He is our screaming banshee. I am sure the neighbors and the librarian are not fans, but we love it. He is so sweet and cuddly, always happy and smiling, and just the Biggest Joy ever!!! Cannot wait to see what happens next, he might be walking in a couple months since he is already trying to pull up and stand at tables. Then I might really be in trouble!
Grandma's Visit!!

Grandma came for a visit while Brent was out of town. As soon as Nathan found out, he ran to the window to wait for "Grandma's Black Car." He was two days too early, but it was so cute. We had a blast and both of the boys were so excited. Nathan was very concerned about Grandma's scratch from the kitty though. He still talks about it and will say, "It's all better!" So Sweet!!

Brotherly Love!
Well, it is official. The boys are now behaving like brothers!! Nathan had a bowl of jelly beans, which was his consolation prize to me not having money for the ice cream truck today. Hello, you all better start taking credit cards if you're going to charge $4 a popsicle. Geez.... I told Nathan we could buy an entire box of popsicles or he could have jelly beans. Anyway, back to the jelly beans :) So, Nathan had his bowl on the table. Ryan grabbed the bowl and dumped the beans all over the floor, (which he obviously intended to do!) Nathan in return, pointed at Ryan saying No! Then turned to me and as clear as he has ever spoken said, "Ryan spilled that!" Ryan was giggling (meaning babbling), which pushed Nathan's buttons and Nathan said, "No Thank You!" (storming off with his beans) OMG, it was hilarious. A brotherly fight between a two year old and 6 month old is the funniest thing I have ever seen and heard!!! At the end of the day, they still love each other :) No grudges or hard feelings and they were friends again within minutes.
Thank Heavens For Little Boys!!!

Six Months Old!!!
Nathan
Ryan
They are exact opposites!! Nathan has my shaped head, ears and features with his daddy's shaped eyes, and Ryan has Brent's shaped head, ears and features with my shaped eyes. They still look like brothers though, and both have beautiful blue eyes!! As far as personalities go, they are both such happy babis and snuggle bugs. Ryan is just happy times a gazillion!!

Ryan
Brothers!
